The Immortal Pillars expansion is out today for Age of Mythology: Retold on Xbox and PC, with new achievements and a focus on Chinese mythology.
Immortal Pillars arrives as first big expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold
- Immortal Pillars focuses on Chinese mythology
- It adds a new campaign, new gods, and more
- The DLC also adds 21 new achievements
Then there are the new achievements, which revolve around defeating your enemies in all sorts of inventive ways, completing the campaign missions, and testing your new powers. You can see the full list below: there are 21 achievements worth a total of 185 Gamerscore, none of which are secret.

| Agricultural Revolution | Win a match with 20 or more farms blessed by Shennong's Seeds of Prosperity. | 10 |
| Archaic Shot Put | Deal over 10000 damage to enemy units and structures with Kuafus. | 10 |
| Bringing All Kinds of Hurt | Add a total of 300 Training Yards or Towers to your Machine Workshops or Military Camps. | 10 |
| Three Kingdoms | Link 3 or more Town Centers in a chain within Favored Land. | 10 |
| Terracotta Army | Summon 25 Terracotta Riders in a single match. | 10 |
| Beast Buffet | Consume 5 units with a single Taotie. | 5 |
| Don't Mess With Me | Defeat 100 enemy units using Qilins. | 5 |
| Set the World on Fire | Invoke Blazing Prairie for the first time. | 5 |
| Ten-Pin Strike | Launch 10 or more enemy units into the air using Tao Wu’s Rampage ability | 5 |
| Rain of Pain | Damage 10 enemies simultaneously using Qinglong's Aqua Burst ability | 5 |
| Embarrassment of Riches | Acquire 1,000 food and 1,000 wood using Pixius | 5 |
| Pickup Artist | Win a match with Fox Charm mirror image units dealing at least 600 damage | 5 |
| Become Immortal | Complete the first mission of the Chinese Campaign | 10 |
| Pillar of the Community | Complete the last mission of the Chinese Campaign | 20 |
| All Your Base Are Belong to Us | In scenario 2 of the Chinese Campaign, capture both the Northern and Southern bases | 10 |
| Gotta Catch ’Em All | In Scenario 4 of the Chinese Campaign, free all valley guardians | 10 |
| It Doesn't Look Scratched | In Scenario 6 of the Chinese Campaign, win with the Pillar remaining at least 60% HP | 10 |
| Burn Baby Burn | In scenario 1 of the Chinese Campaign, Use the Blazing Prairie God Power on the enemy base | 10 |
| Xuanyuan Sword | In Scenario 3 of the Chinese Campaign, find the lost relic in the ruins | 10 |
Age of Mythology: Retold also marks the latest Xbox exclusive to move over to Sony's console, as Age of Mythology: Retold Premium Edition is available on PS5 now.
